How to apply for Out of Programme Experience

Did you know that if you’re planning OOPE from your renal training, you now have to inform not only your Deanery, but also the Renal SAC (Kimberley.archer@jrcptb.org.uk) and PMETB, if you want to be able to accredit? This process can take 6 months to complete so start early. Even if you’re not sure about how much OOPE will “count” towards your training, or you’re not sure how much clinical work you’ll be doing, you are advised to get approval from all of these prospectively regardless, as you can no longer do it retrospectively.
